Torres del Paine National Park

Torres del Paine National Park is the most famous in Chile. Surrounded by the Andes and the Patagonian steppes, the park was created in May 1959 and declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in April 1978. Located 112 km north of Puerto Natales and 312 km from the city of Punta Arenas, Torres del Paine National Park is easily accessible by car. The small town of Puerto Natales is the best starting point to visit the park, and in summer (i.e. November to February) there are flights arriving directly from Santiago. Its name comes from the three iconic granite formations of the park, the Towers (Torres) del Paine. Tourists come there to be dazzled by its natural wonders: mountains, lakes, glaciers, waterfalls, rivers. The shelters and hotels and well-marked trails make it one of the best places in the world for the practice of trekking.

Ecocamp Patagonia

The EcoCamp Patagonia is located in the very heart of Torres del Paine National Parc and offers you to live a very original experience combining concern for the environment and high quality comfort. From the domes that compose the EcoCamp, you will be able to admire the breathtaking Torres del Paine during the day and the stars in the sky during the night. The Hotel provides full day or haf-day excursions to discover Torres del Paine National Park, its amazing wildlife (fox, guanaco, puma) and flora, with very knowledgeable guides. The Restaurant offers a tasteful and local food that you will definitely enjoy. There is different types of rooms (standard, suites) which basically vary of size and heating system (there is no heating system in the standard rooms, but the Hotel provides really warm blankets). Finally, to complete this experience, the EcoCamp will open for the 2013-2014 season a new dome focused on relaxation (with massage tables and yoga). We like: the location, the very welcoming staff, the very original experience and the concern for the environment.

Tierra Patagonia

Tierra Patagonia Hotel & Spa sits on a bluff where the South American pampa meets Lake Sarmiento. The building is immersed in the landscape and emerges from the hillside. The award winning architecture complements the flow of the geology in this privileged location and showcases the magnificent views of the Torres del Paine National Park, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 1978. Inside, wood clad walls emanate warmth, safety and protection – a cozy hideaway after a day spent discovering the amazing Patagonian outdoors. The essence of the interior decoration mirrors the design of our sister hotel, Tierra Atacama and here, as there, furnishings and textiles were hand made by Chilean craftspeople, using natural materials from the region, high quality workmanship and inspiration from the surrounding estancias as well as the influence of the native Tehuelche people. The ambience of Tierra Patagonia is casual and friendly, the different spaces created by the designers mean that guests can mingle and get to know one another or find a quiet corner to relax and get away from it all. There is something truly delicious about curling up on a comfortable sofa with a lap blanket, a book and a glass of wine and then forgetting about the book and just staring out the window at one of the Earth's most sublime places.
